    Description

    Set of 3 Handblown Antique Black (Dark Green) 3-Piece Dip Mold Whittled Body Beer Bottles  - 1800's
    These bottles were all probably made in the1840's to1880's. The bottles are hand blown, in a three-piece mold.
    The bottles have visible elongated air bubbles embedded in the glass, prominent twisted stretch marks on the necks, and a non-symmetrical applied finish. The body of the bottles have a wavy or "whittled" surface. (see photos)
    The bottles have a depressed base. They measure 9 5/8 inches tall, and 2 3/8 inches in diameter at the base. The bottles
    have no identifying marks.
    The bottles were simply rinsed off and wiped down with warm water and a soft cloth. None have been professionally cleaned.
