It has been a few years since we've had a couch in our home due to lacking space (tiny apartments are cute and all but let's be real...they're tiny!) Our new home has tight hallways and angles so purchasing living room furniture that we could assemble ourselves was a must, and this didn't disappoint. We picked it up in a box with the dimensions 30" x 36" x 26" which is able to fit in a small SUV but not small enough however to fit through the doorway, therefore it had to be unboxed on the deck (thankfully we don't have snow or that could have been a cold wet mess!).

We absolutely love our new Serra couch! We have an older home with narrow doors and a narrow staircase. We also have to get around two right angle turns to get to the staircase. We just took the pieces of the couch downstairs and assembled it. The directions were easy to understand and took no time

My clever grad-student son, who insists on being mobile, found these sofa and love seat options for his apartment. The fabric is more brown than charcoal and is holding up very well after more than a year of abuse. The cushions were quite firm when they first arrived. However, over time, they have softened up a bit. We do not expect that the cushions will ever collapse and flatten, a bonus in upholstery at this price point. We are tall; my only issue with these units is the depth of the seat. It could have been designed with an additional 3-4 inches in depth, front to back, to accommodate our long legs. On the plus side, the back cushions are higher than other models. The unit arrived clean and not damaged and required assembly. The shipping container was surprisingly small; we found out why when we opened it. All the pieces are packed INSIDE the frame and the upholstery flaps open strategically for access. This velcro'd design also creates storage opportunities in these voids. This track arm style is contemporary and these units blend in well to most surroundings - perfect for staging.

The 78-inch sofa arrived in a surprisingly small box, with the frame and cushions intricately (and tightly) arranged inside. The seat cushions are vacuum packed in thick plastic bags. Once the seal on the bags is cut, the cushions start to expand to their original size, so it helps to work quickly to insert them into the fabric cover while they are still somewhat compressed. The multilingual instructions include illustrations that were helpful during assembly, which was completed in about 30 minutes. No tools are required for assembly/disassembly. The sofa is held together by metal brackets in the seat backs and 5 spinner bolts. Every hard surface I saw poking through the fabric was real wood, including the 6 legs. Despite other reviews, there was no plastic used in the construction of the sofa I received. The frame assembled easily and all of the threaded holes lined up properly. It was necessary to pull or push the parts to be assembled forward or backwards to align the holes so they threaded easily. It’s important that the left and right backs be on the correct side, with the threaded insert in the center so the backs can be fastened together with the included spinner bolt. If assembled incorrectly, there won’t be a threaded insert in the center. There was a mild chemical smell emitting from the cushions in the plastic bags, but the odor quickly disappeared once the cushions were inserted into the cushion covers. One thing to note is that the bottom cushions aren’t reversible, so if you damage a cushion, there’s no flipping it over to hide it. The sofa is comfortable to sit and lay on. Although time will tell, the fabric appears to be durable. I’ve previously purchased a sofa at a furniture store and paid a lot of money with absolutely no clue as to the materials used in the construction of the sofa. Having assembled this sofa myself, and seeing first hand its construction, I can attest to its quality, which is far better than I expected for the price, and is on par with sofa costing several times the retail price of this one. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this sofa and highly recommend it.

Very nice sofa for the price. The instructions for assembly we easy to follow. It was a very easy task to assemble. The couch comes in one box which all the cushions, back of couch and frame we all labeled very good and made it easy to assemble. No tools whatsoever were needed.It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. The sofa is very lightweight and stylish. It is comfortable and has a very good looking fabric which is very soft.The pillows that come with it are very nice and modern looking. A very nice couch that will go with any decor.
