Fantastic find - but with just one itty-bitty flaw!
This 1952 LineMar Co Inc Mickey Mouse wind-up tricycle is in fabulous condition. Made of tin (the tricycle) and celluloid (not plastic - the body, legs, arms and head), this highly collectible vintage toy is magnificent.
The mechanism works flawlessly to propel Mickey around in a large circle, but clearly this toy was not run on a hard surface previously, since the paint is intact on all three wheels, and his little celluloid feet move up and down as they should, giving the impression that he's pedaling himself along...
Yes, one ear is missing, but the rest of him is in spectacular condition, considering this toy is nearly seventy years old. I've taken the missing ear (granted, one of Mickey's hallmarks) into consideration in the pricing on this item. This is not a common toy to become available, and as a Disneyania collector, this HAS to be part of your collection.
