    Description

    Hand made 100% cotton Victorian/Civil War style draw-string reticule, bag or purse. It is made of 100% cotton thread.
    The bag is hand made in a striking flame stitch pattern. It is approximately 8" deep and  8" across or about 16" around. It is unlined, but the stitches are dense enough that the bag does not need a lining. The bag is large enough to carry such modern items as cell phone, camera and change purse. It closes with a crocheted drawstring and there is a pretty scalloped edge around the opening. This is a new, un-used item, made by a retired Civil War sutler.
