    Description

    This is a solid red cotton Civil War lady's skirt, pleated with 1/2" pleats all around the waist with button closure.  It is handmade, 36" long with a 38" waist.  There is enough fabric to move the buttons to enlarge the waist.  It is 100% cotton.  A work petticoat can be worn underneath but no hoop.  Was worn but shows little wear.
