Great vintage estate sale find!  This braid / macrame style plant holder is a mix of 70s throwback!  Nice mauve rose color rope type yarn works well on this one - not fuzzy at all!  It measures almost 48 inches long.  It can hold pots of varying sizes and stretch easily.  Just the traditional design.  No funky smells or stains noted - was stored away.  Truly from the 1970s or 80s era and just very boho chic. This one has a Ring at the top. Has wooden beads accent it as well.
